Netfleet: Download Manager for Linux, Mac OS X and Windows

Netfleet is a download manager and accelerator for Windows, Linux and Mac OSX. According to its website "this program tries to accelerate the downloading process by using multiple connections for one file."

In the program's preferences dialog you can set "maximum running tasks" and the number of split threads, among other things.
